2008 BEECHER FOURTH OF JULY
CELEBRATION
Thursday, July 3rd through Sunday, July 6th

The Fourth of July is just around the corner and
the Beecher Fourth of July Commission would like to provide
you with the tentative schedule for this year’s activities.
All events will be held at Firemen’s Park, 673 Penfield
Street.
This year, a new carnival has been booked for the festival and
the band “American English”, a Beatles tribute band,
will be playing on Sunday evening.
Some of the times of the events are subject to change. Please
check this website for updates after June 1st.
Thursday, July 3rd
Carnival, food court and beer garden open from 6pm to Midnight
All-you-can-ride wristbands $20 from 6pm to 10pm
"Replay" on main stage from 7pm to 11pm
Friday, July 4th
Beecher 5K Run/Walk begins at 8 am (ENTRY
FORM)
Teen bands from 12 Noon to 4pm
Carnival, food court and beer garden open at 12 Noon
Parade registration at Princess Café parking lot from
2:30 to 3:30pm
Parade at 4:00pm (same route as prior years)
“Five Guys Named Moe” on main stage from 7pm to
10pm, and 10:30 to 11:30pm
Fireworks: 10:00pm (to be launched just north of Firemen’s
Park)
Saturday, July 5th
Carnival, food court and beer garden open at 12 Noon
All-you-can-ride wristbands for $20 from 2pm to 6pm
Bean Bag Tournaments begin at 1 pm
(ENTRY FORM)
“Jimmy’s Bavarians” German Band on main stage
from 3pm to 6pm
Chamber of Commerce Pork Chop Dinner from 4pm to 7pm
“The Silhouettes” on main stage from 8pm to 11pm
Sunday, July 6th
Carnival, food court and beer garden opens at 12 Noon
All-you-can-ride wristbands for $20 from 2pm to 6pm
Tug-of-War Competition begins at 1 pm (ENTRY
FORM)
Talent Festival on main stage from 12 Noon to pm
“American English” on main stage from 6pm to 9pm
Car Raffle drawing at 10:00pm
Park closed at 11:00pm
Volunteers are ALWAYS needed to help run this
celebration. For information or to volunteer, please contact
the Village Hall at 946-2261.
The Beecher Fourth of July Commission was founded to provide
a community-wide celebration that provides family entertainment
and funding for improvements to Firemen’s Park and other
community projects.
